Spain’s consul-general in Mumbai, Fernando Heredia, recently sponsored the country’s National Day at the Taj Mahal hotel to strengthen ties between the two countries.

Education emerged as one of the most important themes discussed during the event, attended by Maharashtra Minister of Environment and Climate Change Aaditya Thackeray, BMC Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal, and the consul generals of several other nations.

A new study destination is on the rise.

According to Dr. Karan Gupta, an education consultant, education is the most effective way to bring people from different nations together. With the growing number of Indian students who wish to study abroad, he says that Spain is rising as a “Study Abroad” destination. Gupta, a former IE student, is also the managing director of the IE South Asia office in Mumbai, founded in 2004 with his wife.

At the IE University in Spain, creativity and entrepreneurship are integrated into all of our courses, which attracts a large number of Indian students to the university. According to him, “We are providing special scholarships for Indian students because of the financial hardships they are experiencing because of the epidemic.””

In terms of student satisfaction, Spain took the top spot.

According to a poll of 108,000 foreign students, Spanish colleges are the most student-friendly. Austria, Estonia, Hungary, and Italy completed the top five. After Australia, the United States, and Canada, the United Kingdom ranked seventh.
