2020 vs 2021
Compared to 2021 with 2020, education platforms are seeing an increase of 50% in students eager to pursue education outside India.
Due to travel restrictions and a surge in Covid-19 cases in several developed countries, students couldn’t join colleges abroad last year, which has restrained demand since then.
The number of scholars aspiring for foreign colleges will further improve the US, the UK and other countries.
Vaccination Drive
The US vaccination drive has brought plenty of confidence among students, which led the Indian students wanting to study abroad.
The biggest hurdle for these students now’s getting visa recognition due to the high number of Covid-19 cases and lockdowns in India, Therefore, the delay in board examinations and results.
A recent survey of 5,000 students conducted by education and career guidance providers suggested that 94% of the scholars who had dropped plans to join a world college in 2020 were now reconsidering the plans in 2021.
Key reasons of interest
As much as 71% of undergraduate and post-graduate students looking to travel abroad for higher studies consider better healthcare infrastructure together with the key reasons for their interest.
The survey finding concludes that quite every student is keen to review abroad this year. However, all the UK and US are taking precautionary measures, including getting the international students 10 days of quarantine and vaccination, thus building confidence among parents and students.
The vaccine has played a crucial role within the augmented student interest this year. More than 75% of the majority unquestionably have one eye on the ‘vaccine factor’ while applying, and ‘Healthcare’ is now a front room conversation in everyone’s lives.

Favourable Destinations
As per the survey, 75% of scholars opted for the United Kingdom as the most favourable destination, followed by followed by Canada and therefore the US. About 58% said that they had made their plans within the last three months.
Two-thirds said that the United Kingdom decides to vaccinate all international students who opted for their country as their preferred study destination.
